The Artist

Kenneth Marunowski is a plein air (in open air) and studio painter who loves exploring the great outdoors through his creative practice. In 2015 Ken completed a two-week intensive painting course at the New York Studio School in New York City, and then traveled throughout New England, exploring the landscape both in paintings and on foot. This past winter, the artist painted the rocky crags of Smith Rock State Park and other stunning landscapes of Central Oregon. This summer 2016, Ken will be an Artist Fellow at the Marchutz School of Fine Art in Aix-en-Provence, France where he will paint along with the students and offer public lectures that examine his art and artistic approach.
